Don’t remember any ‘Jane’ in my murky past… ah, except one who I think might have liked me rather more than I appreciated her! But she had lots of ‘eyre’ as I recall (then, anyway!)… but then so did I, if memory serves (and it doesn’t nearly as often as I might like)! Another case of the famous:’Vu votre age, Monsieur…..’
